The betting odds have Kovalev as the astronomical favorite when he
hosts Chilemba in Ekaterinaberg, Russia, this Monday, July 11 in a
tune-up fight before his showdown with Andre Ward later in 2016.
Sergey Kovalev is a 100-to-1 odds favorite against Chilemba according to online boxing betting sites.

Although you can always reference the Tyson vs. Douglas fight to show
that no outcome is certain, nobody is rushing to bet their money on
Isaac Chilemba.
While a technically sound boxer, Chilemba lacks any type of punching
power and therefore has little chance of causing an upset — especially
when fighting in Kovalev’s home country.
It seems as though promoters are taking few chances in these tune-ups
because Andre Ward will be facing little-known Alexander Brand in
another mismatch. Both fights are being televised by HBO and will serve
as a nothing more than a promotion for Ward vs Kovalev.
